Rev 13,7-10

· (6a) Responsibility Ø Jesus’ yoke of obedience Ø Our obligation to keep His commandments – These will be difficult times for the church. It says that we will be overcome by the world system. God will allow some of us to be killed, imprisoned, and mistreated. The greatest temptation will be to defend ourselves at that time, which would have the reverse effect that we desire. If we defend ourselves in those days, we will end up losing God’s will for our lives, and thus the protection of the Holy Spirit. He wants us to play a part of fulfilling prophecy by being innocent as sheep going to the slaughter, so that He may pour out His judgment on our enemies as it was all previously ordained. This is also God’s end time refining process, prepared for His people, since His church lived such a luxurious, material, and worldly life prior to the tribulation period. He thought He would clean up His bride before the wedding.

· (106e) Thy kingdom come Ø Hearing from God Ø Attaining the hearing ear Ø Having the ability to hear

Rev 13-10

· (17g) Sin Ø Judging in the flesh Ø Evaluating circumstances with a carnal mind -- It will be imperative in the last days to walk in the anointing, and to continually renew your mind with the word of God just to avoid the pitfalls of bitterness. The temptation to defend yourself will be too great to resist without plenary control of the Holy Spirit working in your life. To lash out at your enemies will result in losing the protection of the Holy Spirit to your own demise.

· (42f) Judgment Ø Satan destroyed Ø Be like Jesus Ø Innocent of all evil -- This verse goes with verse 7

· (87j) Thy kingdom come Ø Obedience Ø Being a slave to obedience

· (126d) Thy kingdom come Ø Manifestations of faith Ø Peace Ø Peacemakers avoid violence -- God is going to expect His last day church to avoid reaching for the sword (guns, knives, cannons, etc.) to defend themselves from their enemies who will capture them and put them to death. God here is saying it is better to die and be with Him as a martyr, and set an example as the children of God, as peace makers, rather than to kill someone to protect your own inevitable mortality. The moments have been few that the church has been a good example to the world, but in the last days, God is going to expect it from them, or they may lose their lives anyway, only outside of faith, which is hardly considered a martyr. You simply cannot pick up a gun and blow somebody's head off by faith.

· (160l) Works of the devil Ø Essential characteristics Ø Satan’s attitude determines our direction Ø Temptation Ø Tempted to act like an animal

· (163b) Works of the devil Ø Being a slave to the devil (Addictions) Ø Bondage Ø Being slaves of men Ø Prison

· (189j) Die to self (Process of substitution) Ø Separation from the old man Ø Masochism (Self-made martyr) Ø Fasting Ø Fasting simulates dying to self

· (204d) Denying Christ Ø Man chooses his own destiny apart from God Ø Back-slider Ø Practicing sin Ø The apostasy -- This verse goes with verse 7

· (219j) Sovereignty Ø God overrides the will of man Ø Predestination Ø God’s calling is our destiny

Rev 13,11-18

· (185g) Works of the devil Ø The origin of lawlessness Ø Mystery of lawlessness Ø God helps Satan in the mystery of lawlessness -- These verses go with verses 1-7

Is there a possibility of conspiracy within our global economy? The answer to that question is ironically yes and no at the same time. Think how long the economy has been running, and think how long there has been evidence of conspiracy. You can see traces of economic conspiracy going back hundreds of years, but a safe place to look for a start of conspiracy is at the convergence of new ideas, and for many nations that suggests a period after World War II. Everything changed back then for good or for bad depending on the country. We are talking around 1945, and here we are now in 2011. That is almost a 67-year interval. Anyone back then 20 years old interested in economic conspiracy would be in his 87th year by now, too old to enjoy the fruits of his conspiracy. In other words, if anyone were interested in establishing an economic conspiracy, he would never see the fruit of his investment. He will be working for his progeny. Maybe this is how the greediest people in the world thought before World War II, but that is not how they think today. Rather, corporations are sacrificing their children’s future for a better return on the dollar. Anybody who attempts to establish a world empire, will not live long enough to see his vision fulfilled. A multi-trillionaire will not design and perpetuate a grand conspiracy for his descendants. That’s not what people do, especially not rich people. They don’t care about anybody but themselves. We are living in a self-centered generation. There is no one strategizing a conspiracy for someone else to reap the benefits. There is no one investing all his time, effort and money, sacrificing his entire life for the sake of his grandson becoming chancellor of an empire he will never see. So who is at the root of global conspiracy? "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Eph 6-12). The evidence of world conspiracy is obvious, but it doesn’t make sense until you introduce satanic forces into the equation. When you see a logical progression of events transpiring over a period of generations with no one seemingly at the helm, you must know that Satan is afoot. These conspiracies act just like social paradigms (akin to cultural evolution and social engineering), suggesting that he controls them too.
