· (4j) Being responsible for the choices you
make Ø Accountable for your deeds – The
last days are a unique time; they cannot be compared with any other time in
history. Being a Christian in those days will not be a cakewalk, but will be
one of the most exciting times to be alive. It will be the opportunity to view
the world through the eyes of Christ, though every generation has been
required to do so. As you can see in this verse, losing your robe will not be
an uncommon thing. Garments are a symbol of your deeds. The garments that
Jesus is advocating, however, is not your self-righteousness, but your works
produced by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is therefore saying in this verse to make
sure the Holy Spirit remains active in your life, and to continue working with
Him and letting Him be a part of your life. Don’t lose that willingness to

· (3g) *God addresses both genders –
This is a dark description of men and women, but I think it is important to
understand that these are the conditions that will exist between them in the
last days according to the prophesy of Scripture. The book of Revelations
paints a bleak scenario of the beast playing second fiddle to the Harlot.
Although she is part of himself the beast resents it and destroys her, thus
destroying himself (self-destructive, masochistic, like the demon-possessed
man of Gerasee). If you are willing to let down your guard for a moment and
take an objective look at society today, not just in America, but happening
in the whole world, you will see women being in control more now than ever.
That might seem fair, but the Bible teaches that these are the conditions
the world will be in just before everything falls apart. I will leave it at
that and let you draw your own conclusions, but if you label me for saying
this, it only proves that cultural society is controlling you, and not God’s
word.

Rev 2,20-24 This harlot is the woman Jezebel. In verse 18 it says that she
represents the great city of the world at that time, which I believe is
Jerusalem. I believe that for a number of reasons, first because Jerusalem
has always been a historical city that has always been at the heart of
fulfilled prophecy. Secondly, to adhere to the tendency of similitudes,
analogies and ironies in the Bible; I believe the second coming of Christ
will receive about the same welcome as the first by the ones who are waiting
for it, that is the church. The world will miss His second coming like they
missed His first. According to the New Testament, the people who followed
Christ in the flesh were expecting Him at any time to take His seat in the
temple, but He never did. Now this time a false Christ will arise and
deceive the nations about his identity and will take his seat in the Jewish
temple, and will not only deceive the Jewish community, but the church and
thus the whole world, because of their lack of knowledge of the Bible.
