a
Act 21,27-36 And
when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they
saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him, Crying
out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where
against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also
into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.(For they had seen before
with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had
brought into the temple.) And all the city was moved, and the people ran
together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the
doors were shut. And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief
captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar. Who immediately took
soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief
captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul. Then the chief captain came
near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded
who he was, and what he had done. And some cried one thing, some another, among
the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he
commanded him to be carried into the castle. And when he came upon the stairs,
so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people. For
the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.
Act 23,12-24 And
when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under
a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy. And they came to
the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great
curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul. Now therefore ye with
the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to
morrow, as though ye would inquire something more perfectly concerning him: and
we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him. And when Paul's sister's son
heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told
Paul. Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this
young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him. So he
took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner
called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath
something to say unto thee. Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and
went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down
Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would inquire somewhat of him
more perfectly. But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him
of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they
will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready,
looking for a promise from thee. So the chief captain then let the young man
depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things
to me. And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred
soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two
hundred, at the third hour of the night; And provide them beasts, that they may
set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.
Rom 15-30,31 Now
I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of
the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; That
I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service
which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
2The 1,5-10 Which
is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted
worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous
thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you
who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven
with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not
God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be
punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from
the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to
be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was
believed) in that day.
Tit 2-14 Who
gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto
himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
2Pet 2,5-9 And
spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of
righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning
the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow,
making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered
just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:(For that righteous
man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from
day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly
out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be
punished:
Jd-5 I
will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the
Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them
that believed not.

Jn 8-59 Then
took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the
temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Act 9,22-25 But
Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at
Damascus, proving that this is very Christ. And after that many days were
fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him: But their laying await was known
of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him. Then the
disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
Act 26-16,17 But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen,
and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from
the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
2The 3,1-3 Finally,
brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be
glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from
unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. But the Lord is
faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2Tim 3-8,9,11 8,9 Now
as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of
corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no
further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at
Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all
the Lord delivered me.
2Tim 4,14-18 Alexander
the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: Of
whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. At my first
answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not
be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and
strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the
Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the
Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his
heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Lk 21,16-19 And
ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends;
and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of
all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In
your patience possess ye your souls.
Act 14-19,20 And
there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the
people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been
dead. Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into
the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
1Cor 15-26,55-57 26
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
55-57 O death, where is thy sting? O grave,
where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the
law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ.
2Cor 1,8-11 For
we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in
Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we
despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we
should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered
us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet
deliver us; Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift
bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our
behalf.
2Cor 4-9 Persecuted,
but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
Col 1-13 Who
hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the
kingdom of his dear Son:
Heb 2,14-16 Forasmuch
then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise
took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the
power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death
were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the
nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Heb 11-5,34 5 By
faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found,
because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this
testimony, that he pleased God. 34 Quenched
the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made
strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Rev 18,4-8,20 4-8
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come
out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive
not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath
remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto
her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her
double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much
torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am
no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day,
death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for
strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. 20 Rejoice
over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged
you on her.
Rev 19-2,3 For
true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which
did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his
servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for
ever and ever.

when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried,
saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and
caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou
doubt?
1Cor 16-9 For
a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Phi 1-19,20 For
I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply
of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, According to my earnest expectation and my hope,
that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so
now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by
death.

Lk 1-74,75 That
he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies
might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the
days of our life.
Act 5,17-42 Then
the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of
the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, And laid their hands on the
apostles, and put them in the common prison. But the angel of the Lord by night
opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, Go, stand and speak
in the temple to the people all the words of this life. And when they heard
that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the
high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together,
and all the senate of the children of Israel and sent to the prison to have them
brought. But when the officers came, and found them not in the prison, they
returned, and told, Saying, The prison truly found we shut with all safety, and
the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we had opened, we found
no man within. Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the
chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would
grow. Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison
are standing in the temple, and teaching the people. Then went the captain with
the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people,
lest they should have been stoned. And when they had brought them, they set them
before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly
command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled
Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. Then
Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than
men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to
give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of
these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that
obey him. When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to
slay them. Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a
doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put
the apostles forth a little space; And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take
heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. For before these
days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men,
about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed
him, were scattered, and brought to nought. After this man rose up Judas of
Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also
perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. And now I say
unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or
this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot
overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. And to him they
agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded
that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they
departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted
worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every
house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Act 12,5-12 Peter
therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church
unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night
Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers
before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon
him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and
raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he
did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he
went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the
angel; but thought he saw a vision.
When
they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that
leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went
out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from
him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that
the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod,
and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews. And when he had
considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose
surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
1Tim 2,1-3 I
exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and
giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in
authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and
honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have
bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my
father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before
thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired
servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way
off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and
kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and
in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to
his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on
his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it;
and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he
was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
Jm 5,1-8 Go

Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver
is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat
your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of
you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are
entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. Ye have lived in pleasure on the
earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. Be patient
therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth
for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he

the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done
nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into
thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou

Act 7,55-60 But
he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the
glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I

Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him
with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses
laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. And they
stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And
he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their
charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be
able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we
ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so
our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for
your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same
sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your
consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye
are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. For we

Act 12,1-11 Now
about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the
church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he
saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the
days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in
prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending
after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in
prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And
when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping
between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door

Act 16-25,26,37-40 25,26
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang
praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great
earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately
all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. 37-40 But
Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and
have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but
let them come themselves and fetch us out. And the serjeants told these words
unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to
depart out of the city. And they went out of the prison, and entered into the
house of Lydia and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and
departed.
Act 23,16-22 And

thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are
mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these
are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name
those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with
them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have
kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture
might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the
world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them
thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even
as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the
world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the
world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word
is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them
into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be
sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also
which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou,
Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the
world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I
have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou
in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that
thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will
that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may
behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the
foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but
I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have
declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou
hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Rom 8,31-39 What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He
that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not
with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge
of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is
Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand
of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love
of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all
the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am
persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any
other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eph 2,1-22 And
you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time
past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of
the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the
lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and
were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in
mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins,
hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised
us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his
kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any
man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good
works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore
remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called
Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by
hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the
commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no
hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes
were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath
made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained
in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And
that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the
enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to
them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the
Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but
fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the
chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto
an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an
habitation of God through the Spirit.
Col 2,8-15 Beware
lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition
of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him
dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And
ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom
also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off
the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him
in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the
operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your
sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him,
having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances
that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way,
nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a
shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Heb 2-9,10 But
we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of
death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste
death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are
all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their
salvation perfect through sufferings.
Heb 9,11-15,24-28 11-15
But Christ being come an high priest of good things
to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is
to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by
his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal
redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an
heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How
much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered
himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the
living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by
means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the
first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance. 24-28 For Christ is
not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the
true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor
yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the
holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered
since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he
appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed
unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to
bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the
second time without sin unto salvation.
1Jn 2-1 My
little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man
sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2Pet 1,5-11 And
beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue
knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to
patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly
kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that
ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and
hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather,
brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do
these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto
you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ.
God
knows how to supply our needs
k
Act 24-23 And
he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he
should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
Rom 5,6-21 For
when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For
scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some
would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his
blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies,
we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled,
we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through
our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Wherefore, as
by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world:
but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from
Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's
transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the
offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be
dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man,
Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so
is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is
of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned
by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the
offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of
one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence
might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin
hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto
eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 8-28 And
we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to his purpose.
Heb 2,14-18 Forasmuch
then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise
took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the
power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death
were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the
nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all
things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a
merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make
reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered
being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
God
knows, therefore you don’t have to care
l
Mat 6,25-33 Therefore
I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more
than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow
not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father
feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought
can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment?
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they
spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to
day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you,
O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or,
What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these
things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need
of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mk 8-2,3 I
have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days,
and have nothing to eat: And if I send them away fasting to their own houses,
they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.
Lk 12-6,7,24-34 6,7
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and
not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head
are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
24-34 Consider the ravens: for they neither
sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how
much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can
add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is
least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they
toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to
day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he
clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations
of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these
things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be
added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to
give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags
which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief
approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will
your heart be also.
2Cor 7,4-7 Great
is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled
with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. For, when we were
come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side;
without were fightings, within were fears. Nevertheless God, that comforteth
those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; And not by his
coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he
told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that
I rejoiced the more.
Eph 3-20,21 Now
unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by
Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
