Eph 6-12 For
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
2The 2-11,12 And
for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a
lie: That they all might be damned who
believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2Tim 3-13 But
evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Tit 1,10-16 For
there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the
circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching
things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a
prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow
bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be
sound in the faith; Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men,
that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that
are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience
is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being
abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Heb 3,6-19 But
Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the
confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore (as the
Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
Harden
not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the
wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty
years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err
in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They
shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you
an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one
another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through
the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the
beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if
ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some,
when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by
Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had
sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they
should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that
they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Rev 13,4-18 And
they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped
the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and
power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
And he
opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his
tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war
with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds,
and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth
into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be
killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. And I
beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a
lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first
beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship
the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so
that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And
deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he
had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the
earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a
sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would
not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both
small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right
hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the
number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Lk 11-34,35 The
light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body
also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of
darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
Lk 22,49-53 When
they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall
we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest,
and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And
he touched his ear, and healed him. Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and
captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out,
as against a thief, with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the
temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the
power of darkness.
Eph 4,17-19 This
I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other
Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened,
being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them,
because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given
themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Jm 3,13-16 Who
is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good
conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying
and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom
descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying
and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Heb 11-29 By

Rev 17,1-8,14-18 1-8
And there came one of the seven angels which had
the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew
unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With
whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of
the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried
me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet
coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and
precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations
and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of
the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And
the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the
mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven
heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall
ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on
the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from
the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not,
and yet is. 14-18 hese
shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord
of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen,
and faithful.5 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the
whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
And
the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and
shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with
fire. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and
give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the
kings of the earth.
Rev 18-7,8 How
much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and
sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and
shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and
mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is
the Lord God who judgeth her.
Rev 19,19-21 And
I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together
to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the
beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before
him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and
them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that
sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls
were filled with their flesh.
Rev 20,7-10 And
when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the
earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is
as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and
compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down
from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet
are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Jn 15-25 But
this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their
law, They hated me without a cause.
Act 5,1-10 But
a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept
back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain
part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan
filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price
of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold,
was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine
heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these
words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that
heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out,
and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife,
not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether
ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said
unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the
Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door,
and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and
yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and,
carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
1Jn 1-6,8,10 If
we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do
not the truth: 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar,
and his word is not in us.

the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the
purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that
calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is
written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is
there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have
mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have
compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but
of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this
same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that
my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on
whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Thou
wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his
will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing
formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the
potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and
another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his
power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to
destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels
of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Rom 11,17-22 And

graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the
olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not
the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off,
that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and
thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the
natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the
goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee,
goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut
off.

pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love
him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most.
And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and
said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest
me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them
with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the
time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not

1Cor 1,18-29 For
the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which
are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom
of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where
is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not
God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God
the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching
to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek
after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock,
and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and
Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness
of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye
see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many
mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of
the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world
to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and
things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to
bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Cor 2,6-8,14 6-8
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are
perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world,
that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the
hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of
the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have
crucified the Lord of glory. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the
things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he
know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is
godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
2Tim 3,7-9,12,13 7-9
Ever learning, and never able to come to the

as theirs also was. 12,13 Yea, and all
that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and
seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Mat 28,11-15 Now
when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed
unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were
assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the
soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while
we slept. And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and

is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. And
they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the
devil, and also concerning the swine. And they began to pray him to depart out

Lk 23,35-37 And
the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying,
He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And
the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And
saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.
Jn 7,25-30,32 25-30
Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this
he, whom they seek to kill? But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing
unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ? Howbeit we
know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.
Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye
know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom
ye know not. But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. Then they
sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet
come. 32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things
concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take
him.
Jn 11,46-48 But
some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus
had done.
Then

Act 8,18-24 And
when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was
given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on
whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him,
Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may
be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy
heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness,
and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I
perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.
Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these
things which ye have spoken come upon me.
Act 16,36-40 And
the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to
let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. But Paul said unto them, They
have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison;
and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves
and fetch us out. And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and
they feared, when they heard that they were Romans. And they came and besought
them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city. And they
went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia and when they had
seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.

Lk 13,1-5 There
were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood
Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them,
Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because
they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all
likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew
them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I
tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Jn 7,43-52 So
there was a division among the people because of him. And some of them would
have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. Then came the officers to the
chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought
him? The officers answered, Never man spake like this man. Then answered them
the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees
believed on him? But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed. Nicodemus
saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,) Doth our
law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth? They answered and
said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee
ariseth no prophet.
Jn 8,31-59 Then
said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then
are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall
make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in
bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them,
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If
the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye
are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in
you.
I
speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen
with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus
saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of
Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I
have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then
said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded
forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not
understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father
the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he
speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me
of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
He
that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are
not of God. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou
art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I
honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. And I seek not mine own glory: there
is one that seeketh and judgeth. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep
my saying, he shall never see death. Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know
that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a
man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Art thou greater than our
father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou
thyself? Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my
Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not
known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a
liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham
rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto
him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said
unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took
they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the
temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
Jn 9-16 Therefore
said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the
sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And
there was a division among them.
Jn 18,28-30 Then
led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and
they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled;
but that they might eat the passover. Pilate then went out unto them, and said,
What accusation bring ye against this man? They answered and said unto him, If
he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.
Jn 19-31 The
Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not
remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high
day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be
taken away.

Jn 19,1-4 Then
Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. And the soldiers platted a crown
of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, And said,
Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. Pilate therefore
went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye
may know that I find no fault in him.
Act 26,4-9 My
manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at
Jerusalem, know all the Jews; Which knew me from the beginning, if they would
testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our
fathers: Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and
night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the
Jews. Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should
raise the dead? I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things
contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
Rom 2,17-24 Behold,
thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, And
knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being
instructed out of the law; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of
the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, An instructor of the foolish,
a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the
law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that
preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should
not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost
thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking
the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the
Gentiles through you, as it is written.
Gal 2,11-14 But
when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to
be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the
Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing
them which were of the circumcision. And the other Jews dissembled likewise with
him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. But
when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel,
I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner
of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as
do the Jews?
Tit 1-15,16 Unto
the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is
nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that
they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient,
and unto every good work reprobate.

Act 14,11-18 And
when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in
the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men. And
they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief
speaker. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen
and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes,
and ran in among the people, crying out, And saying, Sirs, why do ye these
things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye
should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and
earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: Who in times past suffered
all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless he left not himself without
witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful
seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness. And with these sayings
scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
Act 17,22-25,29 22-25
Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and
said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this
inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him
declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that
he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither
is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth
to all life, and breath, and all things; 29 Forasmuch
then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is
like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
Act 19,23-29 And
the same time there arose no small stir about that way. For a certain man named
Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small
gain unto the craftsmen;
Whom
he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know
that by this craft we have our wealth. Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone
at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned
away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: So
that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the
temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence
should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth. And when they
heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is
Diana of the Ephesians. And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having
caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions in travel,
they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

Mk 14-63,64 Then
the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be
guilty of death.
Mk 15,29-32 And
they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou
that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, Save thyself, and
come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among
themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. Let Christ
the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And
they that were crucified with him reviled him.
Lk 10,12-15 But
I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for
that city. Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty
works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a
great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more
tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum,
which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
Lk 22,67-71 Art
thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not
believe: And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Hereafter
shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then said they
all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. And
they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his
own mouth.
Jn 3-18 He
that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God.
Jn 6-36,64 36
But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and
believe not. 64 But there are some of you
that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed
not, and who should betray him.
Jn 9-24,28,29 24
Then again called they the man that was blind, and
said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
28,29 Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his
disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. We know that God spake unto Moses: as for
this fellow, we know not from whence he is.
Jn 10,22-26 And
it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was win ter.
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round
about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be
the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed
not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye
believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Jn 16-8,9 And
when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of
judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Act 13-40,41 Beware
therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold,
ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work
which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
Act 28,23-29 And when they had appointed
him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and
testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the
law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening. And some
believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. And when they
agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word,
Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go
unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and
seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed
gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest
they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with
their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Be it known
therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and
that they will hear it. And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and
had great reasoning among themselves.
Rom 10-16 But they have not all obeyed
the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
