Rev 12,9-11 And
the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels
were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come
salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his
Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before
our God day and night. And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Mat 17,24-27 And
when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to
Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he
was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon?
of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children,
or of strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then
are the children free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to
the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when
thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and
give unto them for me and thee.
Phi 2,14-16 Do
all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and
harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and
perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the
word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in
vain, neither laboured in vain.

Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth. But what I do, that I will do,
that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they
glory, they may be found even as we. For such are false apostles, deceitful
workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for
Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great
thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;
whose end shall be according to their works.

unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
1Cor 1,11-16 For
it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the
house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every
one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of
Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in
the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. And I baptized also
the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

Act 3,6-8,16 6-8
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but
such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and
walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his
feet and ancle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and
entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

raised in power:
Eph 3,16-21 That
he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened
with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts
by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend
with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to
know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with
all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto
him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without
end. Amen.

Lk 22-43 And
there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
2Cor 1,8-10 For
we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in
Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we
despaired even of life: But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we
should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: Who delivered
us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet
deliver us;
2Cor 12-5,9,10 5 Of
such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine
infirmities. 9,10 And
he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made
perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take
pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in
distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2The 3-3 But
the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2Tim 4-17,18 Notwithstanding
the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be

the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and
will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever.

ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all
these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Lk 22-31,32,42,43
31,32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold,
Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed
for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy
brethren. 42,43 Saying, Father, if
thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine,
be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
Rom 8-26,27 Likewise
the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for
as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings
which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the
mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to
the will of God.
2Cor 1-11 Ye

the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
1The 3-9,10 For
what thanks can we render to God again for you, for all the joy wherewith we joy
for your sakes before our God; Night and day praying exceedingly that we might
see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
Heb 4-15,16 For
we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let
us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and
find grace to help in time of need.
Heb 5,1-3 For
every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining
to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: Who can have
compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he
himself also is compassed with infirmity. And by reason hereof he ought, as for
the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
1Jn 5-16 If
any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he
shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death:
I do not say that he shall pray for it.

Act 14-21,22 And

the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must

Heb 12,12-16 Wherefore
lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths
for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it
rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man
shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;
lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be
defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one
morsel of meat sold his birthright.

1Jn 2-14 I

Mat 5-23,24 Therefore
if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath
ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first
be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Act 20-34,35 Yea,
ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to
them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye
ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he
said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Rom 14,1-3,13-21 1-3
Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not
to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another,
who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not;
and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received
him. 13-21 Let us not therefore judge
one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or
an occasion to fall in his brother's way. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord
Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any
thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. But if thy brother be grieved with
thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for
whom Christ died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of: For the kingdom of
God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy
Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and
approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace,
and things wherewith one may edify another. For meat destroy not the work of
God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with
offence. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing
whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Rom 15,1-3 We
then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to
please ourselves.
Let
every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. For even
Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that
reproached thee fell on me.
1Cor 8,7-13 Howbeit
there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol
unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience
being weak is defiled. But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we
eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. But take heed
lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are
weak. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's
temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those
things which are offered to idols; And through thy knowledge shall the weak
brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren,
and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Wherefore, if meat make
my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make
my brother to offend.
Gal 6-1,2,5 1,2 Brethren,
if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in
the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye
one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 5 For
every man shall bear his own burden.
1The 5-14 Now
we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded,
support the weak, be patient toward all men.
1Pet 4-11 If
any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him
do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be
glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and
ever. Amen.

to the widows

Mat 15,3-9 But
he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God
by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and,
He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever
shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest
be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free.
Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye
hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh
unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is
far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the
commandments of men.
Act 6,1-3 And
in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a
murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were
neglected in the daily ministration. Then the twelve called the multitude of the
disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of
God, and serve tables. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of
honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this
business.
Act 9,36-42 Now
there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is
called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they
had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber. And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh
to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him
two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them. Then Peter arose
and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber:
and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments
which Dorcas made, while she was with them. But Peter put them all forth, and
kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And
she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. And he gave her his
hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented
her alive. And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
1Tim 5,3-16 Honour
widows that are widows indeed. But if any widow have children or nephews, let
them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that
is good and acceptable before God. Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate,
trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. But
she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. And these things give in
charge, that they may be blameless. But if any provide not for his own, and
specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse
than an infidel. Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years
old, having been the wife of one man, Well reported of for good works; if she
have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the
saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently
followed every good work. But the younger widows refuse: for when they have
begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry; Having damnation, because
they have cast off their first faith. And withal they learn to be idle,
wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and
busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. I will therefore that the
younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the
adversary to speak reproachfully. For some are already turned aside after Satan.
If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let
not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
Jm 1-27 Pure
religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the
fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from
the world.
