TEMPLE OF GOD MADE WITHOUT HANDS
What
is my motivation behind writing this book? One day I decided to see
what would happen if I spent large amounts of time in the word of God and
prayer, if it would turn into nap time or if God would really meet with me as He
promised in His word. God met me down by the river every time I went there, and
He showed me things I didn't know before I prayed. Soon a theme emerged from my
prayers, which is the theme of this book.
What
do I hope folks will gain from this book? Have a personal
guided tour through the old covenant temple as Christ leads you into prayer
passed the outer court of animal sacrifices, through the holy place with its
table of showbread and golden lampstand and into the holy of holies, the
location of the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant. This book
elucidates the rich symbolism of the high priest's dual ministry, who annually
visited the most holy place with the blood of a bull, indicative of Christ's
ministry of the cross, and foretold the subsequent ministry of the Royal
Priesthood (the church) by the daily dressing of the altar of perpetual incense.
All this and more the temple structure reveals through God's intended imagery.
Dig deeper into the awe-inspiring truths of the Bible and discover God's purpose
for your life as delineated by the ancient Jewish temple. This book will not
only prove that it is God's will for you to frequent the Holy of Holies through
prayer, but it will also teach you how to pray according to God's specific
design as seen through the ancient tabernacle. The Holy of Holies is our prayer
closet. The Symbolism of the tabernacle holds the design of God's plan for the
church in the last days and holds the key to our own walk with God.
One
of the
intents of this book is to demonstrate the power of prayer through the symbolism
of the old covenant tabernacle to prepare the reader to successfully
integrate into the coming great endtime revival. Having an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ is the only
way we will survive the last days. Darkness will
envelop the world in a thick cloud of deception, and we will need to rely on
Jesus who said, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your
Lord doth come” (Mat 24:42-51 KJV; See also Mat 25,1-30; Mk
13,33-37; Lk 12,35-48; Lk 21,28,34-36). A genuine relationship with
Jesus Christ will be our only possession that will effectively help us through
these coming arduous times.
As
we come to know our Lord through the word of God and prayer, we will acquire the
hearing ear as it says in Rev 2:7, “He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” This is the word Jesus repeated more often than any other statement
in the book of Revelation. The
result of God's people developing the hearing ear is unity, which will overpower the kingdom of
Satan. This book speaks about the anointing and bridges the gap between the
evangelicals and the charismatics alike, even between denominations distant as Baptists
from Pentecostals.
There is one God, one tabernacle and one anointing that speaks to all
denominations. I am a born again Christian and have spent as much time with the
evangelicals as I have with the charismatics. This book successfully crosses the
barrier between them, and calls all people to unity. It is time we concentrate
on what we have in common, instead of on our differences. I have been seeking
God for nearly 30 years and have spent about half that time writing this book.

What
other people are saying about this book:
I like the topic you chose and am very impressed with your
achievement of researching, studying and then putting it all to words in a
careful and thoughtful way. Yes indeed, I agree and support your premise of
seeing and knowing God though the lens and perspectives of the Old Testament as
an excellent way to see and appreciate our present access privilege. Our easy,
casual way of entering into worship and His presence is inconsistent with
the "hoops" and preparations the OT guys had set up and prepared
to get access. It says 2 things to me, a) we need to get a better
appreciation and grasp on His holy presence and b) Jesus Christ did something very
great, special and amazingly transformational that gives each of us as
believers direct and immediate access, not merely once / year.
What a gift and conceptual understanding unfortunately few have. You have
unwrapped and brightened up these concepts for new and older
believers. Job well done!
