Works of the devil -- The works of the devil are in direct opposition to God's commitment of building the righteousness of faith in the church. The inverse relationship of the Satan's kingdom against God's truth illustrates the willingness of man's flesh to follow the natural inclinations of his own human depravity, leading ultimately to blasphemy and the reprobate mind, securing the souls of men in hell. Within these parameters we see two spiritual kingdoms fiercely engaging in battle with the eternal destiny of mankind as its quarry. This chapter outlines the downward trend of demonic control and helps the reader trouble shoot the glitches of his/her own relationship with God. It confirms the significance of putting away sin and cautions the reader that living in rebellion against God can lead to very serious consequences.
