Witness -- God has acquired many valid witnesses in Scripture throughout history, starting with Abraham and ending with the apostle John. God's most valid witness is Christ, who not only heard and saw the things that God was doing on earth, but lived with Him in heaven throughout eternity. The degree to which God's witnesses can validly confirm His identity is the power of their testimony. This chapter will solidify in the reader's mind the validity of Jesus' witness of the Father, the Father's witness of Christ and the church's witness of God. |
